Established in 2001, Famous Times is an affordable recording studio in Hackney, London, based at the home of Musician and Producer Sean Read.
The idea behind Famous Times is to provide a well equipped, comfortable studio in a relaxed and creative environment which is both high spec and reasonably priced.
The studio is designed to record live musicians and has a fantastic mic collection as well as a full range of Analogue and Digital recording, mixing and mastering equipment, outboard gear, and instruments. Recent clients include Kevin Rowland & Dexys, Suggs and Irvine Welsh, Mark Lanegan, Dave Gahan, Iggy Pop, Gabriels, Soulsavers, The Charlatans, Edwyn Collins, Manic Street Preachers, Beth Orton, His Lordship and Chrissie Hynde
